The National VIPER Bureau provides a complete range of services to forces which include:
- The preparation of video ID parades based on a nationally agreed Service Level Agreement
- Additional advanced editing of compilations to include the production of replicated and mosaiced features to meet specific user requirements
- Management, supply and support of the equipment installed at the data centres and at the VIPER sites within police forces which are utilised to provide the service
- A 24/7 service desk to manage the availability of user sites
- Project management to assist in the implementation of new sites
- Training courses for users covering the complete range of system processes
- Management, enhancement and delivery of the National Video Identification Database
- Maintenance of a complete set of user documentation
